PRODUCT DETAILS
- Powder to water ratio = 100 : 30 E.g. 100g powder and 30g water. (This can be adjusted to suit your required viscosity or preference and is only a guide)
- Working time - 10-20 minutes at 23 °c
- Touch dry / unmoulding 30-60 minutes
- 24 - 48 Hours for optimum cured strength
- Shelf life - unlimited when kept dry
- Store in a dry area away from moisture or damp ensuring opened containers are sealed.

For example if you purchase 3kg you receive 3 x 1kg bags of Eco Pour. This ensures your order stays sealed until needed, they are easier to handle and pour from and we can say thank you by saving you pennies for buying more!
ECO POUR FAQ
Is Eco Pour just like plaster of paris?
No, Eco Pour is not the same as plaster of paris! It looks similar and is mixed with water. However, feedback from customers who have used plaster of paris before say that it doesn’t compare. This is because
- Eco Pour has been formulated specifically for art and casting so it is much easier to work with and is more fluid
- Plaster hardens way too fast so it doesn’t give you the time to create effects or take a breath whilst pouring!
- Once cured the surface on both sides is super smooth. This doesn’t happen with plaster
- Plus you can’t pour plaster like resin (you can with Eco Pour) to create textured effects on geodes, trays, coasters etc. So no comparison : )
Why is Eco Pour® environmentally friendly?
Eco Pour® is a water based, non-solvent material making it kinder to the environment. The natural source materials and low energy manufacturing process used to create Eco Pour® make this a more sustainable, eco friendly and safe alternative to resin, plaster and concrete.
Eco Pour® does not release volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can be harmful to human health and the environment and is completely solvent free. As it doesn't emit toxic fumes when used, there is no need for special equipment to be used and this reduces the impact on the environment.
Cured pieces of Eco Pour® can be broken down and reused in future creations or the material can be recycled at a local recycling centre in the same way as concrete or plaster. The packaging materials used for Eco Pour® are also fully recyclable and we offset the carbon emissions created in the shipping and production.

How does it differ from other similar mediums that create cement/ceramic textures?
Eco Pour is different as it consists of one component. A casting powder. This revolutionary product requires only water to be added rather than requiring an additional activator liquid whilst still producing the same result. This makes it easier to use and creates a smoother finish - so less dreaded sanding!
It always requires less packaging (as there is no need for a liquid activator bottle) making it more eco friendly. Just add some good old H2O mix and pour : )

How can I seal Eco Pour?
Eco Pour can be sealed to prevent staining, water penetration and for outdoor use, using our Eco Pour Sealer. Some customers also use bees wax and coconut oil. Eco Pour is also compatible with epoxy resin.

As a beginner, and after trying other brands I found this eco pour so easy to use. Mixing with water is a game changer for me. It mixed well and holds the colour pigments nicely. Demoulded well with a lovely finish.
I have placed two orders for this eco resin already as a total beginner I was able to make amazing looking items right away and the mix dries so white and smooth it’s great for using with acrylic pens. I will definitely be ordering more in the future.

I love using Eco Pour, i know that i’m going to get great results every time and the finish is beautiful and so tactile. It’s really versatile too - I mix in sand and turn it into a sort of clay to create terrain for my seascapes

I’ve tried a few eco casting powders and I must say I personally think that eco pour is the best on the market by far. It mixes really well, hardly any bubbles and a super smooth white finish. I love using eco pour and would definitely recommend it.

This is the best resin powder we've ever used for making our handcrafted storage holders. We have tried same brand but in grey colour pack and we were unhappy with the final results. ECO Pour in white colour pack is the best! Thank you Apex Resin for your good price offer and high quality material!
The product itself is really high quality. Additionally, due to our bad experience with the delivery courier who lost our initial order, Apex Resin had offered their quick and efficient support and they replaced the missing order straight away. I have tried a couple of eco resins & so far Eco Pour is the best I've tried. It has a soft silky, feel to it when products have cured. I love how quickly I can demould, which for me is big as I'm impatient lol. Some take a lot longer before you can demould. It's pure white if you don't add any colour which is beautiful in its own right. It's eases to make terrazzo chips & items with terrazzo effect. I've included a picture of some coasters made for my garden with terrazzo. The best thing is it's totally safe for children to use & I have used this with my granddaughter, which she really loved. Goes perfect with Lou's colours from Create & Bloom as you can see with the pink tray & peony ❤️ 5 ⭐

I can't see anywhere whether your eco-resin is suitable for candle moulds and what the temperature is it can go up to? It says suitable for candles - but not the temperature.
