New to resin? Don't worry! If you're just getting started and need to stock up on a few essentials, here's the shopping list we'd recommend for this workshop.
- Opaque Yellow Pigments such as Forsythia and another yellow such as Lemon Meringue Mica– to create the two beautiful lemon shades used throughout the project.
- A blue background colour – such as Almost Midnight, Marine Blue or Peninsula.
- Green pigments or mica powders – for the leaves, such as Evergreen, or Douglas Fir Green
- White mica powder such as marshmallow
- Glade of Gold – to add a subtle sparkle and beautiful highlights.
- Mixing pots, stirring sticks and nitrile gloves.
- A long-handled gas lighter – for removing surface bubbles. You don't require a heat gun for this workshop
- A surface to create on – aluminium composite panel, MDF board or canvas.
- Apex One Coat Resin – the resin used throughout this workshop.
For the closest results to those demonstrated in the video, I recommend using Create & Bloom pigments and Apex One Coat Resin. However, you're very welcome to use the products you already have if you prefer.
Happy pouring!
