As you’ll know, we LOVE Apex Resin. They’ve recently just added to their range and we think it's the best resin we’ve ever tried. 

Here’s our review of the new absolute magic Apex Resin CurePro.

Why is Apex CurePro so special?

• High-quality finish and shine: CurePro produces a clear, glossy, “glass-like” finish that works beautifully for top coats or doming. It gives that more “professional” look once finished. Honestly, we’ve been amazed. It’s rescued some really terrible projects where we’ve covered flash cures, amine blush and some major scratches. Its covered them all with absolute ease. 
  
• Good workability & ease of use: It uses a simple 1:1 mix ratio by volume — this makes it easy to measure and great for mixing either small or large amounts.
  
• No bubbles: This resin self releases bubbles so quickly. We’ve not needed to use heat or alcohol to pop those pesky bubbles. They just rise to the surface and pop on their own before it cures.
  
• Perfect for cooler temperatures: Crafting in winter? Absolutely not a problem for CurePro. We’ve had perfect results and no amine blush even on the most cold, damp and rainy of days. Absolute win for crafting in Winter.
  
• Versatile: ‘CurePro works on a variety of surfaces (metal, wood, MDF, glass, etc.), and is suitable for things like jewellery, coasters, art pieces, and decorative items.’
  
• Self-levelling + doming effect: Because it’s fairly viscous, CurePro flows slowly. This means you’ll get a smooth top coat or gentle dome finish. This is ideal when sealing flat surfaces or encapsulating items.
  
• Reasonably quick curing times: This resin will reach full cure in about 24 hours (possibly longer in cooler temperatures).
